Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge Perfume by Tom Ford, Tom Ford Jasmin Rouge is a fragrance that was introduced in 2011 along with Violet Blonde, and Santal Blush. The fragrance opens with notes of bergamot, mandarin, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, black and white pepper. At its heart, the scent contains jasmine, neroli, ylang-ylang, and clary sage. The base notes are Mexican vanilla, labdanum, leather, wood, and amber. Tom Ford began in 2005, and partnered with Estee Lauder that same year. However, prior to founding his eponymous brand, Thomas Carlyle Ford studied architecture at Parsons School of Design. He found a knack for fashion while he was studying abroad with a fashion house during his time at the school. Ford hid his past architectural work and began to pursue a career in the fashion industry, landing position with Perry Ellis and Gucci. While with Gucci, Ford was in charge of directing the marketing campaign for one of the company’s new acquisitions, which happened to be Yves Saint Laurent. His campaign was met with much success, and Ford began to gain much more recognition as a designer.
